About COCHA Established in 1954, by Eva & Everett Thornburgh and a few of their friends, Marion Smith and Nina & Wade West, it's principal purpose then and still, being to provide members an opportunity to enjoy the sport of cutting and to gain experience in an environment which promotes competition and learning with an emphasis on affordability, maximum participation and fun. In the course of my delightful conversation with Eva Thornburgh the subject of the difficulty of getting cattle "nowadays" came up. Eva said "Oh my, if you think it's tough to get cattle now, you should have been around back then!" So it seems the more things change, the more they stay the same!
Membership is open to all, $30 for a family membership and $25 for single, youth is $5. For more information please contact COCHA at 541-504-8381 |
